The Société Industrielle Nord de France (SINF) awarded an Industry Trophy 2021 to the B.I.G. Yarns site in Comines, France for the site's efforts to promote health and safety at work.
B.I.G. YARNS awarded HPR status for second European plant
B.I.G. YARNS is proud to announce the attainment of a FM Global ‘Highly Protected Risk’ Achievement Award (HPR Award) for its yarn production facility in Komen, Belgium.
The HPR Award is assigned by insurer FM Global, Beaulieu International Group’s insurance partner of the past five years in its on-going dedication to property loss prevention.
B.I.G. YARNS’ Komen production facility is the fifth plant at B.I.G. to receive HPR status - the highest level a plant can achieve for fire risk prevention and protection.
Voka Charter Sustainable Business (VCDO) 2021
In 2020, B.I.G. YARNS started the journey of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals within its core activities. Thanks to the whole team, who took the time and effort to grow in sustainability, who analyzed data, highlighted opportunities, and implemented real changes.
As a recognition of the commitment and the action plans, B.I.G. YARNS (Comines and Komen plants) have been granted the Voka Charter Sustainable Business 2021. Our sustainability journey has not ended yet. This is just the beginning.
